Shabby Tea room challenge #3

Easter is here!  Happy Easter to everyone!  
I don't know about anyone else but, I am a hoarder of ribbon.  My husband tells me all the time that don't need any more but what does he know. 
I also made this for the Shabby Tea Room Challenge  //theshabbytearoom.blogspot.com/2010/03/week-3-lets-get-scrappy.htmlI used paper, ribbon, felt, and stickers. This was kinda fun

    Super cute ... I {heart} all your embellies. I, too, am a ribbon collector - I have baskets and baskets of beautiful spools of ribbon and always find a 'reason' to buy *more*! I would never ever use these colors together, but some how it came together.  I used paper from AB  and stamped the butterfly with Brilliance.  The ribbon is a new kind of ribbon and it really doesn't do it justice in the picture.  I also added some pearls to keep it looking soft.

This was a work in progress over three days .  After a good friend has moved away I was very depressed and did  not want to do anything .   I love the way that this card turned out.  I never use this type of paper color or anything.  It really is a work of art. This also was a card that was inspired by my mother graduating from school with her masters and the colors just felt right.

Stamper on the shore challenge
