GIVE IT YOUR ALL!

This is what I made after spending time out with a friend.  I was kinda sad because she was leaving and need sometime by my self. This is what came out of my work!  I used scraps from packaging and my scrap box.  I inked my work and used ribbon of course with some flowers that I picked up at Archivers.  I really like the way that it looks.I also thought that I would use it for the just us girls challenge.

Easter is here!  Happy Easter to everyone!   I don't know about anyone else but, I am a hoarder of ribbon.  My husband tells me all the time that don't need any more but what does he know.  I also made this for the Shabby Tea Room Challenge  //theshabbytearoom.blogspot.com/2010/03/week-3-lets-get-scrappy.htmlI used paper, ribbon, felt, and stickers.     Easter is almost here! I have a great friend that will be greatly missed.  It will be the last time that her family will be spending Easter with my family and I.  I am really having a hard time seeing her go.  We have our Friday ritual that I am really going to miss and most of all............  the laughter and jokes that we are always doing to one another. She has been a mother to both of my kids.  She has been a counselor when we had our dog pass in the middle of the night.     She gave me something that reads...... a friend is someone who knows you but loves you anyway.  I find that this is very true of close friends.  I am going to miss you. This is the card that I made for her.  I made it in the vintage style as best I could, because she is a lover of vintage.  I miss you already.  Good Luck!

I would never ever use these colors together, but some how it came together.  I used paper from AB  and stamped the butterfly with Brilliance.  The ribbon is a new kind of ribbon and it really doesn't do it justice in the picture.  I also added some pearls to keep it looking soft.

Mojo Monday Challenge.  Pink and red for Valentines day last card for the holiday I think.  I used cut outs from my cricut for the flowers and stamps from inkadinkado.
