GIVE IT YOUR ALL!

Christmas time is here and wow has it flown by. I sat down for one day to make some cards and this is what I made. Its my way of reaching out to to friends and family to let them know what I have been up to.

So this is how it was. There I was inCedar Rapids Iowa and the boys were watching the football game and carring on. The could care less if they in or loose only if they loose my husband is a bear. So I set off to do some shopping for saome items that I could do something new and this is what I came up with. It is ribbon thats it. With a button. If I can do it any one can do it. As you can see in the first picture I attched a flower that I have made to a baby shower gift. It was so much fun and once I got the hang of what I wanted it to look like I just kept going.Let me tell you that it was a trial and error at first. In the end it was worth it.

With all the go go go during the Holidays there is a lot to get done. Even Birthdays, Anniversaries, and more. I will try to let everyone in on a secret relax some. We have more Birthdays and births than ever before and here are some fun ideas to add to the pile . The ribbon that you see is done in a very fun flower. You can add to a card, bib, hair, scrapbooking, about any where . The can is for a baby shower! The card is for a friends birthday.

Every year we go to an Apple orchard and we pick out our pumpkins. We go as a family and it is so much fun! We even take Grandma. After I get home I make a small scrapbook of the event. That way every year we have something to look at and see how the kids have grown

Time for winter to arrive and your stuck in your house and there is nothing to do. Time to learn some new things. I got started because my friend sent me information on making some flowers out of yarn so I sat there all day and night to get this figured out an this is what I ended up with. Flowers that you can use on bibs, scrapbooking, paper clips, hats and anything else that you can imagine. Here are some of my works of art. You can always count on a friend to get you in to something.

Love to also make bracelets and necklaces ect. So sometime my daughter and I make some for teachers, friends, family , or any one that would like one. Here are some fun ones. You can use the clasp or the ones you can just pull on.

There are going to be those times when you need to give a baby gift and you want something that is more personable. Here is a little something for anyone who is learning and wants to make it just for that person. Go to any store that has material and get some a material that you like out of paper make your own design of how big you would like it. Cut it out and make sure to make slits at the neck line and any corners that you have before you sew it inside out. Turn it right side out and stitch it closed. Add some velcro and stitch it When your done you will have something that is made just by you. There is nothing more special at a baby shower than to get something from someone that thought about you and your baby
